Screening & Prevention.

Koelnmesse screens exhibitor registrations to identify potential intellectual property violations. When suspicious applications are detected, our team contacts exhibitors directly with warnings about participation terms and consequences of counterfeiting.

On-Site Expertise.

If you suspect product piracy or counterfeiting during the trade fair, our staff can connect you with experts who can verify authenticity and provide guidance. At select high-risk events, we operate a "No Copy! Pro Original" counter in partnership with the German Patent and Trademark Office.

Enforcement & Consequences.

Exhibitors found to be selling counterfeit or pirated products face strict consequences, including immediate removal from the event and exclusion from future h+h americas shows. We maintain a consistent enforcement policy to protect the integrity of the event.

Educational Resources.

We provide downloadable resources including the "No Copy! Pro Original!" brochure, which offers practical guidance on protecting your products and brands from counterfeiting. This resource is available to all attendees and exhibitors.
